Smt. Jayalakshmi Sekhar

Hailing from a family of musicians, Jayalakshmi is a verstile musician , playing on the Veena , Violin, flute and she sings too.
She was initiated into music by her father, Sri CS Krishnaswamy, who played the taught her basics in carnatic music and also the flute.
Recipient of several Awards Including Kala Vipanchee , Hamsavinodhini award and Veena award from Narada Gana Sabha, Life time achievement awards from Malaysia and Australia, Gana Kala Shiromani.She has been recently empanelled by ICCR.
